CANCELATION & REFUND POLICY
At filmvacation Nyc we strive to keep our customers happy by creating the best experiences in new york city regarding travel photography and filmmaking, so that you can really savor the essence of your destination through its most representative and iconic landmarks. But sometimes things don’t go according to plan. Travel arrangements change, things fall through. And as much as it pains us, we understand that sometimes cancellations are necessary. Below you will find our outlined cancellation policy.
Please note that our refund policy is the following:**
- - 90% of payment, if the cancellation is made 30 or more days prior to your arriving at the destination of your trip;
- - 75% of payment, if the cancellation is made within 30 to 20 days prior to your arriving;
- - 50% of payment, if the cancellation is made within 20 to 15 days prior to your arriving;
- - No refunds will be made for cancellations within 15 days prior to your arriving;
- - No shows will receive no refund.
**For all cancelations, and according to availability of schedule, the customer could receive its refund as a gift card for future use.
Our photo and filmmaking experiences involve several local partners (including licenses at some locations in new york city, light and sound design freelancers, drivers, equipment rental, etc.) When an appointment is canceled without ample prior notice, our partners are also affected. For this reason, our total refund amount varies depending on the amount of prior notice given.
Refunds will be processed to the credit card used for the original booking and the cancellation will be complete when you receive a cancellation email from the filmvacation nyc team.
Refund requests for cancellations made within 48 hours prior to a tour will be responded to within 5 business days to allow us time to investigate. Refunds will be given at the sole discretion of filmvacation nyc.
In the event that filmvacation nyc is obligated to suspend an appointment due to factors outside of its control, the company shall offer an alternative in the form of another tour or a different date, aiming to adapt to the availability of the client. Should this not be possible, the entirety of the fee paid shall be refunded.
